Fulfillment systems have increasingly become one of the most important facets of a 3rd party fulfillment companies service. The ability to deliver information quickly & easily, integrate with multiple sales channels and platforms, import & export data for analysis and use with other applications, and optimize processes & minimize cost through technology are all paramount to the success of our customers. We utilize best of breed fulfillment management systems to run all of our operations and communicate with our customers and their trading partners.

Through our sophisticated fulfillment systems we manage virtually all processes related to our service, integrate through our API and to various shopping carts for order & tracking # exchange and inventory synchronization, and provide web-based client visibility & comprehensive reporting through our proprietary Birds Eye Viewer interface.

Web-based Access & Email Notifications

Web login for access & visibility to inventory status, manual order entry and order file upload, order shipment tracking information, and Swan’s billed charges for all transactions….variable access levels are available for management assignment based on employee function
Reporting of inventory levels & historical usage, orders pending & shipped, backorders, tracking reports, lot usage and many more……all of which are based on user defined parameters and date ranges, and are exportable to multiple formats
Access to images & documents related to transactions (eg. scans of Packing Slips and Bills of Lading from inbound receipts, digital pictures of inventory items or receipts with problems)
Event triggered email notifications……new inventory received, orders received, modified & shipped, inventory adjustments and returns, SKU-specific low stock alerts, order shipment notification to our client’s customers with tracking & client-specific content, etc.
Reports can be scheduled for automated upload to our FTP site and automated download from FTP for import into our system, this is particularly useful for clients that manage a mirror inventory in their own internal ERP or financial systems and need to export & import order, tracking & inventory files with us on a daily basis

Permission based logins allow for client employees to be granted access to specific functions based on the discretion of our client’s management

Packages are shipped based on our client’s specified routing for each order, or pre-defined business rules can be scripted to insure that all orders are routed based on a blend of criteria (eg. deliver within 2 days, ship ground if possible)
Once shipped the order record is updated with tracking, weight & shipment cost and automated shipment notification emails are sent from our fulfillment system (or the data made available for our client’s systems to immediately generate their own emails)
All addresses are validated against the USPS database to correct and standardize the address for maximum deliverability, this minimizes returns and customer service efforts related to undelivered packages (even if someone enters their own address incorrectly!)
Integrated customs documentation for international shipments…declared value, commodity description, duties & taxes payee, etc.
Advanced shipping options such 3rd party & Collect billing, COD, signature required
